Jaqua Said So

Well I can admit when my foot just does not fit in my mouth all that well. I continue to make fun of Jaqua but I do know where all his strengths are as well. He definitely showed up for this matchup against Chivas USA all the while telling me he told me so.
Jaqua continues to be one of the leading goal scorers for the US Open Cup. He played his detrimental roll in 2009 and mosdef got the go ahead as the starter for the remaining open cup. Blood ...

Been Awhile

So the leaving of Ljungberg kind of put a stand-still on my season as well as other personal ish. I couldn’t also deny the fact that this MLS Season was a sort of turn-off this year. I played more favoritism watching the CONCACAF Champions League because Int’l play is where its at. Well we aren’t doing too well there right now either so what now?
Oh yeah! We showed up Ljungberg last night. Did I go? Nah. The season is just not that appealing enough for me.
Well i’m starting to slowly ...

World Cup Style

Pretty damn good game for the Electric Rave Green and in Stylish fashion. It may not have been World Class, but it was a nice touch while we are watching the World Cup to go to some penalties. You have all got to agree that this was a nice touch from our home squad, especially with the abismal season going on.

What’s a wonder is that our jerseys seem to be doing their job. And i think i’m growing and still loving to hate it. Is it different? Yeah. But gag.
Its ...

I Believe

I’ve been wanting to continue this break as our Sounders rest up and enjoy the television watching the world’s game. Unfortunately for most folks, work is definately in the way for those working the first shift. But that’s what we do. We work and they work.
So what brings me out of the writing slumber? The fairy tale ending to the qualifying round.
Not much describing is needed for if you missed it or don’t even know about it

its a damn shame

I felt so disappointed with the defence of the USMNT but you ...

Out Of Office

Currently out on vacation paying tribute to my Father’s passing here in the Philippine Islands. I do however still have the chance to keep up with the Sounders despite the recent loss and such. But oh well. I can’t offer any real analysis, but Jeff Parke got outhustled by Connor Casey which lead to a sweet chip over Kasey Keller. Our Sounders continue to struggle but we’ll continue to bleed blue and green.
Its 6am now in the Philippines. Sounders til i die.

Seattle Juniors

Just to start off, I hate the jerseys.
But it does the match justice. Our boys did a great job to what should have been a good spanking for us. Instead, we had the paddles out and the boys in front were on a mission. How could it be? DC takes on AC Milan and here we go ousting the f’ing Boca Juniors? Montero set the tempo pushing out chances after chances, with a bicycle kick, power shots, and back of the head, headers. Who are these guys? Given it was ...

Evans Back In The Mid

Now here is one of our Sounders that I really like. However, this is a plea to get him back to the midfield. Yes I enjoy his intelligent runs and his energy, but he doesn’t have the UMPHFF to razzle and dazzle the opposing defenders. I think he would fit well in with Ljungberg, Osvaldo, Vagenas and Ianni rockin’ the middle. It proves all too well that he knows the runs that should be made, and with the perfect feed to Montero tells the rest of the tale. We need ...

Miserable Seattle Sports

I don’t know if you all caught it yesterday, but Forbes has declared Seattle “America’s Most Misrable Sports City” for the second year in a row. Were the Sounders not recognized at all? I don’t want to get into WNBA and them getting overshadowed, but me not wanting to step over that line and just being a Sounders dedicated site. Why no mention of our Rave Green?
Read about it here.

VIDEO: N’Kufo Goals

Will Blaise N’Kufo be our answer when someone is willing to pay top dollar for Montero? Montero hasn’t been having a spectacular season thus far. But Blaise N’Kufo will defo be in the ranks to be some of major changes that Sigi wants. Let’s add yet another National Team player. We are definitely picking them.
Could be a little bit on the deep end as far as age, but we can use the experience that Ljungberg and N’Kufo can offer.
Here is a little video off of youtube from an earlier season. ...

I Enjoyed It

I mean really, was it all that bad. Did we really need a refund from that game? Ok it was but the point is. The World Cup is just next month and we got to see first hand of how well Landon is (supposively) going to do. At a Sounders Fan stan point, it was pretty excruciating. Especially for us on the North Side where we got to see most of the attacking and goals.
But really. I sat there with a couple of fans watching the game and there was ...
