Seattle Juniors

Just to start off, I hate the jerseys.
But it does the match justice. Our boys did a great job to what should have been a good spanking for us. Instead, we had the paddles out and the boys in front were on a mission. How could it be? DC takes on AC Milan and here we go ousting the f’ing Boca Juniors? Montero set the tempo pushing out chances after chances, with a bicycle kick, power shots, and back of the head, headers. Who are these guys? Given it was a friendly, all I can say is wow.
The season is becoming a bummer, but it’ll always be a plus if we can be entertained. Sitting on the North End with Argentinian fans wailing on their drums, I couldn’t help myself cheering for the away squad. Not all appreciation goes to Montero however, Zakuani and Nyassi were studs up front with the uncanny D in the back.Where was Riquelme and Palermo?
I hope to God that we can expect this electifying energy in the second half of the season. Well done.
Ending with, I still hate our jerseys.

I loved the jerseys. LOVED them. I could care less what they look like out on the street or in the stands. You could actually see the players and the players could actually see each other.
We play terrible in “rave green” in part because it is, in reality, “field turf green.”
The most important thing a jersey can do is provide contrast with your opponents and the surroundings. Neon chartreuse does that.
Point taken there brother. I’m all for any advantage.
